Abstract: Christmas celebrations in Catalonia are heavily influenced by the Catholic rite and have therefore many shared features with surrounding countries such as Italy or Spain.Nevertheless, some of the traditions have an eschatological penchant that make them rather singular.

Anastasiya teema on Belarusian Christmas and New Year
Abstract: the celebrations are combined into a two-week cycle of ritual activities. They incorporate both pagan and Christian elements, and have been among the most important celebrations of the year.
